Humor – Poem – My Wife Is Like An Old Recliner

My wife is like an old recliner,

No offense because nothing is finer.

It might be old, stained and rickety,

But no new model is good for me.

Years together make a perfect fit,

Something young love cannot quite yet get.

But when my good wife this poem shall read,

There are parts which she might disagree.

But both of us know the truth is told,

Young love can’t beat the love that is old.

But because of what I said ‘bout her,

I shall sleep in my old recliner.
