Implications of the first Tree of Life
1. Immortality is not inherent in Man – man can die (Gen. 2:17: ; 3:19)

2. Jesus is given by God to give us life (John 10:10)
3. Jesus keeps us saved (Jude 1, 24-25 )
4. Jesus’ crucifixion can be thrown away (Heb.10:26-31)
Adam and Eve chose a tree of death and forfeited the tree of life. That is the power of man. Jesus chose a tree of death and turned it into a tree of life. That is the power of God.
Acts 10:39, “We are witnesses of all the things He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They also put Him to death by hanging Him on a tree.”
