Can My Attitude Be Worse than the Wrong I’m Correcting?
Check yourself (I know I’m guilty), to see if you read posts to find something wrong; or watch others, waiting on them to fail you (which ironically means they didn’t fail you but you were pleased). Who are you – we – like?
1. “They (scribes and Pharisees) were watching Him (Jesus)” – ISN’T WATCHING JESUS A GOOD THING?
2. “to see if He would heal him on the Sabbath” – ISN’T DOING GOOD ON THE SABBATH A GOOD THING?
3. “so that they might accuse Him.” (NASU Mark 3:2) – OUR ATTITUDE CAN BE BAD EVEN WHEN WE THINK OTHER’S ACTIONS ARE BAD (EVEN IF THEY ARE GOOD).
Here is the lesson – my attitude can be worse than the wrong I am looking for in others.
