Song of Solomon – Passover?

It is understandable why the book of Esther is read during Purim, a story of deliverance (and why Hitler banned its reading). It makes sense why Ruth is read at Pentecost, the feast of the harvest ingathering (which foreshadows God’s gospel harvest in Acts 2). But why is the Song of Solomon, a love story, read during Passover?
The second greatest love story is God rescuing Israel out of Egypt to become His bride (Jeremiah 31:32). But a new marriage covenant is coming!
The greatest love story is about Jesus and His bride. The Song of Solomon shows the glorious theme of love between a husband to be, and His future wife, as they discover love, in each other and then in marriage. Why historically real, it is more.
Herein we learn why God created male, female, and marriage (and why this bond is sacred). It was created to symbolize Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:32). Christ and the Church as His bride is the mystery revealed as God”s plan all along. In the mind of God Genesis 2 and the Solomon’s song follows Ephesians 5.
Now we can see why for the Jews it makes sense why a love story is read at Passover. For Christians Jesus is our Passover, our huband, and the love of His bride the church. This makes the love between a husband and His wife more profound. Marriage tells the story of Jesus rescuing us, His bride, out of spirtual slavery. So read the Song of Solomon as a real love story between a husband and wife. And understand it is something more. It is the mystery revealed.
