A Jew, a Gentile, and a mixed-race man walk into a…. This is not the start of a joke, but it is the start of a messianic movement. Because of Jesus (who was Jewish), Paul (Jew), Luke (Gentile), and Timothy (Greek and Jewish therefore mixed), walked and worked together, going into places to teach the universal and equalizing gospel of Jesus. Do you want racial harmony? It starts with God who became a Jew to bring harmony between God and all sinful races with one another (Roman 3:23). Once freed from sin and separating self-identity, another Jew, a Gentile, a mixed-race young man identified as brothers of one another and sons of God. This is no joke!
