Greener Grass, Or?
Saw a horse with its neck stuck through the fence eating the tall stuff on the other side. Are you thinking, “The grass is always greener on the other side”? Or possibly, “The grass is only greener because there is a leak in the septic tank!”?
Or….
Could it be, the horse chewed all the grass on his side already.
Relationships can be like that. Men and women, “Karens” and “Chads” take out their aggressions on any others because they have already chewed out everyone near them, leaving them left alone!
Be careful how we speak, whether to family, friends, or even strangers. If we are not kind. If we are constantly chewing out others, we might find our home grass chewed up and gone.
“Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person” (Colossians 4:6).
